Longford County Council is now in the process of preparing the Customer Service Charter and Customer Action Plan 2024-2029. Our Customer Services Charter will contain information on what our citizens, customers, communities and elected representatives can expect from our service delivery. 

The Customer Action Plan will describe in detail how the commitments and standards of quality customer service will be delivered and evaluated by the Council. There will be a clear and effective linkage between our action plan and the goals, objectives and strategies associated with service delivery in our Corporate Plan 2024–2029.

As a public service provider, we value quality customer service in every area of our work and for everyone who uses our services. The Customer Services Charter and Action Plan will set out the standards of service you can expect from us. We will continuously monitor and improve our service for you and all our customers.

We have included a number of questions to consider while making your submission. The closing date for receipt of submissions is Wednesday, 21 August 2024.
